Nighthold is a raid in the city of Suramar in the Broken Isles. The raid will see the groups make their way to a final confrontation with Gul'dan and a familiar face from the past will return.

The entrance can be found in the Sanctum Depths of the Sanctum of Order. The instance opened January 17, 2017, with Mythic and LFR modes a week later.
The Nighthold stands as a testament to the achievements of the nightborne civilization. It is the largest structure in the Broken Isles, and among the grandest in all of Azeroth. Centered around the Nightwell, the fount of arcane power that has sustained Suramar for centuries, these grounds were built as a haven from the worries of the world.[1] This is the palace from which Grand Magistrix Elisande runs the city of Suramar. She has brokered a deal with the Burning Legion to allow them to use a portion of the Nightwell energy.[2]

I’ve only managed to successfully open this portcullis once - this was yesterday, and after taking forever to clear trash mobs, I decided to exit and reset the instance to a lower difficulty since I’m only doing it for the Direbeak Hatchling quest. Once again, I’m stuck at the end of a raid with no way out unless I kill myself or hearth back to boralus. This is pretty stupid. Many raids have a portal at the end, why not all?
